Well, I think that we actually have a date for Emma's surgery. It all seems very surreal and I'm not sure whether to believe it or not because of the way it all came about but I think it's for real. The day after Emma had her TEE , Dr. K called and said that he presented her again that night and they had decided to do her surgery. We were beyond excited. We didn't know that was even an option after they had said no. So we had an appointment with the surgeon and he didn't even know about that decision so he had to call and find out and then he set up her surgery for Aug 18. It was weird and exciting to talk to Dr. Rauzzouk, the surgeon. He is such a neat man and prayed with us after. I think because of the confusion I was a little unsettled the whole time thinking they were changing their minds again. But before we left he set the date. I'm really excited but really nervous. I'm going to call the cardiologist this week just confirm everything but after all this time and worry I think that they really really are going to do her final surgery. I know the Lord is watching over all of this. I think I afraid to get to excited until I've talked to Dr. K again but I know everything will work out.
